With waived application fees and letters in multiple languages, this campaign aims to clear financial hurdles and spotlight CUNY as a high-quality, accessible college option right in the heart of New York City.<\/p>\n<h2>A United Front for NYC\u2019s Future<\/h2>\n<p>CUNY Chancellor F\u00e9lix V. Matos Rodr\u00edguez and NYC Schools Chancellor Melissa Aviles-Ramos joined forces to make higher education affordable and within reach for NYC\u2019s graduating seniors. Eligible students have until November 15 to take advantage of the application fee waiver, a small but impactful step toward broadening college access. NYCPS seniors in the class of 2025 are guaranteed admission to CUNY\u2019s community colleges, giving them a fresh start on an affordable degree. With top reasons to choose CUNY front and center\u2014including diversity, affordability, and academic excellence\u2014the campaign highlights CUNY\u2019s unique advantages and aligns with Gov. Kathy Hochul\u2019s College Application Month to make applying to college more accessible than ever.<\/p>\n<h2>Preparing Students for College and Beyond<\/h2>\n<p>The Adams Administration is also supporting this effort through NYCPS and CUNY\u2019s shared college and career readiness programs, like College Now, which offers early college credit, and FutureReadyNYC, providing nearly 15,000 students with career-oriented classes.
