The HealthyNYC Expo<\/strong> started three years ago in East New York, Brooklyn, at the Brooklyn Sports Club<\/strong>, but is now expanding to become the HealthyNYC Expo Series<\/strong>, with events coming to various locations throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx and Queens.<\/p>\n

HealthyNYC Expo was started by Brooklyn-based JIG Media, a digital marketing agency that focuses on health care and healthy living. “This will be our third year holding the HealthyNYC Expo in East New York, at the Brooklyn Sports Club.\u00a0” stated Vernon Jones Sr. CEO of JIG Media<\/strong>, “and we will be expanding this year with the HealthyNYC Expo @Berean Baptist Church<\/strong> in October, which will directly service residents of Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights. Of course everyone is always welcome to attend our events, which are free to the community. The idea is to bring healthy living events directly to as many communities as possible. Our Official Partners are the supporters of this initiative, and they make it all possible. These are companies that truly care about the community.”<\/p>\n

The HealthyNYC Expo @Brooklyn Sports Club<\/a><\/strong> takes place Saturday September 7, 2019 <\/strong>(10am-3pm) and HealthyNYC Expo @Berean Baptist Church<\/a><\/strong>, will be held Saturday October 19, 2019<\/strong>, (10am-3pm). The events will include 35-60 health resource partners, activities for the entire family, zumba, extensive free health screenings by physicians, giveaways, free raffles, a DJ, cooking demonstrations, panel discussions on healthcare, including mental health, health insurance options, and home care.<\/p>\n

JIG Media also owns the New York for Seniors initiative, which includes the New York for Seniors Health & Wellness Series, the New York for Seniors print magazine, and the NewYorkforSeniors.com<\/a> website.<\/p>\n
