This is an Affordable Housing Development for seniors through the NYC Housing Connect<\/strong><\/a> program.\u00a0 If you have a senior family member who needs a brand new affordable housing opportunity then please help them fill out the forms so they can get in.\u00a0 Details and links to the application are below, but be sure to Create Your Account<\/a><\/strong> on the new NYC Housing Connect system because the current system will be phased out in July!<\/p>\n

Individuals or households who meet the income and household size requirements listed in the table below may apply. Also, at least one (1) household member must be aged 62 or older. Qualified applicants will be required to meet additional selection criteria. Applicants who
\nlive in New York City receive a general preference for apartments.
\nA percentage of units is set aside for:<\/strong>
\no Mobility\u2013disabled applicants (5%)
\no Vision\/Hearing\u2013disabled applicants (2%)<\/p>\n

Preference for a percentage of units goes to:<\/strong>
\no Residents of Brooklyn (50%)<\/p>\n

Apply online or through mail. To apply online, please go to nyc.gov\/housingconnect<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To request an application by mail<\/strong>, send a self addressed envelope to: Fountain Seaview B1, 1044 Northern Blvd. \u2013 2nd Floor, Roslyn, NY 11576. Only send one application per development. Do not submit duplicate applications. Do not apply online and also send in a paper<\/p>\n

When is the Deadline?<\/strong>
\nApplications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than August 10, 2020<\/strong>. Late applications will not be considered.<\/p>\n

What Happens After You Submit an Application?<\/strong>
\nAfter the deadline, applications are selected for review through a lottery process. If yours is selected and you appear to qualify, you will be
\ninvited to an appointment of eligibility to continue the process of determining your eligibility. Appointments are usually scheduled from 2 to
\n10 months after the application deadline. You will be asked to bring documents that verify your household size, identity of members of your
\nhousehold, and your household income.<\/p>\n
